How to Turn Off iPhone 13
Turning off the iPhone 13 will save the battery power. This will allow you to store it for a long time without losing its charge. Turning it off will also help you troubleshoot any problems with it. To turn on the iPhone 13 simply hold the side button until the Apple logo appears.
Press the power button
The iPhone 13 is different from previous iPhone models, and the process for turning it off is different as well. Instead of pressing the power button, you can simply hold the side button for a few seconds. Once you’ve done that, you’ll see the Apple logo appear on the screen.
If you have a problem, the first step is to force restart the iPhone 13. If you do not do this, the device will freeze up, either at the Apple logo or during the loading process. If you are unable to restore the device, the only option is to force restart it. Holding the side button and quickly releasing the volume buttons will force restart the device. Once it starts up, hold the side button for a few seconds until the Apple logo appears.
Press the sleep/wake button
The iPhone 13 series has two ways to turn off the screen. The first method is by pressing the Volume Up or Volume Down button. The other method involves pressing the Side button. Note that pressing the Side button will not display the SOS slider. Once you have successfully reset your phone, you will see the Apple logo.
The next method is to use the Side button to turn off the device. To do this, press and hold the Side button and volume buttons. Then press and hold them until the Apple logo appears on the screen. Then type a passcode to unlock the phone or enable Face ID.
Press the volume down button
There are two ways to turn off your iPhone 13. You can use the volume up or volume down buttons, or you can use the side button to perform a hard reboot. When you use the volume up button to turn off your iPhone, you will see the SOS slider, which does not display when you use the volume down button.
If the power-on/power-off process does not fix your problem, you can force restart your iPhone by holding the side button and volume up button together. This will start the phone back up to the lock screen and prompt you to enter your passcode to unlock it. In order to use Face ID, you must enter your passcode before the phone will restart.
Press the home button
If you’re having trouble turning on your iPhone 13, you can do a few things at once. First, you can press the side button to turn it on for a few seconds until the Apple logo appears. Then, you can release the side button and your iPhone will turn on. If you’re having problems, you can also try pressing the power button. This will force the iPhone to restart and charge more quickly.
You can also press the Side and Volume Down buttons to turn off your iPhone 13 without the Power Off menu. If you’re using a side button, you won’t see the Power Off menu, but it will activate Siri. Otherwise, you’ll only be able to shut down the phone. If you’re using the side button, the SOS slider will not display.
